The video in the Padded Room/collection of junk thread grabbed my interest in these no wax skis. Hairy, naked chick not withstanding. They use some sort of nano carbon coating on the base, claiming you'll never need to wax. There is no information about this technology on the website. Anyone know anything about this? Some new ski gimmick or cutting edge technology? Any idea how well this stuff will work and how long the base will last?
