For reference, I live in Utah. I own a house in Summit County, and will be renting it out here very shortly, and will be moving back down to the smog and traffic that is Salt Lake. I have a fun car that I highly suspect will not pass emissions. Summit County has no emissions testing on cars, and so I would like to keep my registration for my cars up there. How do I pull this off? I plan on moving back up to Summit County again in a few years, but until then, want to keep my car registration up there. Should be simple... but if DMV thinks I live in SL county, they will want me to put the car through emissions. How do I trick those fools and continue to register my cars in Summit Co?
How do I keep cars registered at my rental address?
