TR: Fall on Kenosha Pass, East then West

vendredi 25 septembre 2015

A few friends and I headed up to Kenosha Pass yesterday to get a ride in, and to avoid the horrific weekend crowds. When we got to the pass, there were easily 200 cars parked along the road and in the lots... just our luck. But, as most of us know- most people don't venture more than 500 feet from their car... and wasn't that the truth. We didn't see more than a few bikers and a handful of hikers in almost 20 miles.

We decided on a slightly different route: we rode east to the LCW boundary as an out-and-back, and then went west later in the day to get better light and fewer people. Success. Just under 20 miles, 3,000 feet of climbing, and some of the best views and riding you can ask for.

Gotta get up to get down:

A scenic thrown in for good measure:

That's it, that's all:
