As an example, you might have weaker biceps that fatigue before you can complete lats on rows. This can be remedied by doing an isolation exercise, such as pull-downs, that work your lats without emphasizing your biceps. Your lats can get exhausted and when doing rows, make sure that your biceps do not limit you.
