I pulled out some skis this afternoon to get the forward pressure all set with new boots and discovered this fuckery on one of the turntables: the metal piece that is attached to the two rear screws somehow broke, as shown in the picture relative to an unbroken piece.
Has anyone else seen this happen? How did that part manage to break: could it have happened when they were mounted and I somehow missed it for half a season, or did I break it by coming down too hard on it?
Possible lesson learned: should have mounted my own fucking skis.
