New member here. Big winter sports guy, I ski and snowmobile. Ski raced all the way up until i was 20yo.
Last year I pulled the trigger on some volkl kendos 177. It seemed to be the ski for me as i was looking for something all mountain to ski out in the east. I dont know if it is cause im coming off of race skis (first new pair of skis in 8 years) or if im just not used to skiing rockered skis or maybe I bought them too short. The skis feel like they want me to stay centered on them. On race skis i always liked to get out on the tip of the ski and initiate the turn that way. They almost feel slow edge to edge when carving on fresh groomers. My bevel is set to 1/3. I will say I do enjoy the ski later in the day when it gets beat up. I have marker schizo’s on them so I am actually going to try to slide the binding back a little and see if that helps.
