Here's a hybrid "near-race" skimo/rando binding for $265 (plus shipping, which of course won't be much):
Note that crampon clips are *not* included.
(The Dynafit and Plum versions are exactly identical physically ... and unfortunately almost identically pricey too!)
Also note that the Plum Race toe has a spring-loaded lever (unlike the SSL toe, which is identical to the LTR "Manual" version), so the effective lateral release value will probably be higher than indicated on the heel unit housing's scale.
FS $265: Hybrid "Near-Race" Binding = new Dynafit SSL "1.0" heels + used Plum toes
- Dynafit Speed Superlite "1.0" heel pieces, brand new, and although now discontinued, still the only model ever distributed in North America that features continuously adjustable release values combined with a race-style heel cover for fast skin>ski transitions (i.e., entailing only flipping up & stepping down), along with a higher elevator position too.
- Plum Race toes, used, ~250,000 skinning/skiing vertical (i.e., out of 262k total vertical ascended/descended).
Note that crampon clips are *not* included.
