Maybe it's just bad luck, or that I'm a bit of a hack when downhilling, or probably both, but I've broken 2 saddles (bent rails and broke the shell and connectors) in the matter of a couple months. The first one I broke by slamming my chest into it on a steep rocky downhill, the other was broken (probably?) when the seat slammed my ass when I landed a little flat off a drop. Are there any good MTB saddles with steel rails and more burly construction out there that I should look at? I've broken a Specialized Henge and a WTB Silverado Pro. Weight isn't really a major concern on this bike.
Saddles that won't break?
