How much narrower than your ski are you willing to go with a skin? Do you always insist on getting full tip/tail coverage, or are you ok losing a few mm from the waist to save weight?
I got some carbon bros (99mm) and I'm planning on using some 95mm BD mohair mixes, cut at the last tail notch etc to eek out every gram... any had bad experience with this approach? I will also narrow the tip rocker bit of skin as well, etc...
So would you stretch the difference between waist width and skin width to 10mm? 20mm? Just curious really.
