Recently played in a typical golf outing. Participants getting waaaaay too drunk, cheating, somewhat public urination, you know, the usual on a golf course behavior when free booze is flowing. I did see however a couple of firsts for me.
1) Guy broke his arm while flipping a golf cart on the drive out to each group's starting hole. At 8:30am. Apparently these guys were pre-gaming in the parking lot since 6:45am. In their trashed state they couldn't handle a soft curve on the cart path with a slight downhill slope on their way to hole 2A. Yup, within eyeshot of the clubhouse they were already a man down. And a cart down as the roof was completely folded down on top of the cart's wheel and seats.
2) Same outing. Local 'talent' was sourced to serve as beer girls from a strip joint. Sure it made for nice eye candy, but even more impressive was a couple guys from one group getting these girls to abandon their beer cart mid-round for a conjugal visit in the 15th hole outhouse for some good, clean lovin. Many people were impressed with the sounds coming out of that shithouse as they helped themselves to fistfuls of beer from the abandoned beverage cart parked outside.
Did I mention that this was a 'memorial' outing for a guy who lived fast and hard and was put away wet? 5th 'memorial'. Can't wait for next year.
