Grouse Fajitas Recipe + Learn to Prepare, Hunt and Clean these birds..

Below is a recipe for Grouse Fajitas and a link on how to prepare, cook, clean and hunt for these amazing birds in the Fall. This is a great way to put food in your belly, get outdoors and spend time with your dog.

How to Cook Grouse
Saute some Garlic

Add in some Bell Peppers ( I like to prep them the night before, see the timeline below.. ) Let them cook for 10 minutes just below Medium

Add in your cut up grouse pieces

Season (I use local Yellowstone Natural Salts from Wyoming ) and crushed up Black Peppercorns

Cook until they look like fajitas :)

Enjoy..

Hidden costs of "dropping out" (not school related)

The Heels are going to be empty nesters in about 4 years and we are planning on dropping out of the race. We have college money covered for MiniHeel, I have a pension from 13 years as a classroom teacher, both of us have healthy 401k's, have stocks from FreedaHeel's time in the investment world and have some great equity in our home. Plan is to leave Vail and purchase a nice little rural spot near Schweitzer with the equity, ski and get some low key part time gigs to bring in money for food, booze, insurance and retirement. Big question is what are the hidden costs that people have found with partially retiring at age 50? What are we missing?

$35 fly lines from Bozeman Flyworks. Anyone tried these?

http://ift.tt/1REYm0f

Reviews seem good, prices is obviously great. Has anyone tried them? They also have a sink tip line for the same price. Cheap leaders and tippet as well.

I really like the fact that the fly line comes in a fly box that can be re-used.

marker track bindings.

Hi Guys

I ended up with some new marker binding, but they are the silly track system that only fits K2 skis.

1) can they be “un-tracked” and make into a normal, flat mount binding?

2) can I order just a ski only (new, used, old stock, new, etc) so I can sell them?

3) do you guys want them? will trade for cash, product, a big hug, etc.

basically I don’t need them, but don’t want to throw them out.

one is from an 2008 K2 explorer, mx 12 demo (88mm) and the other is mod 12 with 80mm? brakes

Hate to say it, but I am genuinely worried this year. A couple pics I have seen of some new/bigger lines are bonkers.

BERTHOUD PASS 2015-2016 OBSERVATIONS, CONDITIONS AND STOKE

Playboy Drops Nudity - NSFW

"Playboy magazine is to stop publishing images of naked women as part of its redesign, it has emerged.

Its US owners say the internet has made nudity outdated, and pornographic magazines are no longer so commercially viable, the New York Times reports.

Playboy's circulation has dropped from 5.6 million in the 1970s to the current 800,000, official figures show.

However, the magazine will still feature women in provocative poses - though not fully nude.

The decision was apparently taken last month at a meeting attended by Playboy founder and current editor-in-chief Hugh Hefner.

Magazine executives admitted that Playboy - which was founded in 1953 - had been overtaken by the changes it pioneered, according to the New York Times.

"That battle has been fought and won," Playboy chief executive Scott Flanders is quoted as saying by the newspaper.

"You're now one click away from every sex act imaginable for free. And so it's just passe at this juncture."

Gone, too, are the days when interviews with figures of the stature of Martin Luther King Jr, Malcolm X and Jimmy Carter made Playboy so culturally and politically significant, says the BBC's Nick Bryant in New York.

Playboy's website has already banished nudity, partly to give it access to social media platforms like Facebook and Twitter. And its popularity has soared with web traffic quadrupling.

A brand long synonymous with salaciousness is cleaning up its act, and all with the blessing - apparently - of the 89-year-old Mr Heffner, our correspondent adds.

These are the first version. Small punch on each for 5th toe. The liner is brand new. The shells probably have about 12ish days on them. WTT-Praxis MVP's

I have medium stiff 187 Praxis MVP's drilled once for 317 bsl on the line. Probably 50 days on them over two seasons. I need something softer but not a noodle. They were already too stiff for my skiing ability and ski area. Looking for Atomic Automatic or something similar.

I'd also entertain reasonable sale offers but I'd need to be sure I could get a pair of skis at a reasonable price.

Long Ride, Tuesday 10/27

I'm posting this well enough in advance.

Been getting Mon/Tue's off lately.
Assuming I will still have those two days off and the weather holds as predicted...should be cool enough...

Still need time to explore a few sections of this ride.
Should have it all put together in the next two weeks.

I am planning an all day ride.
Napa/Yolo Counties.
Not sure of the mileage, but it appears to be around 40 miles.
Could be as much as 10,000' vert.

Looking for a riding partner/s for a predawn to sundown ride.
Shuttle provided.

Who want's some?

Putting skins in freeride skis with Rossignol FKS bindings. WHAT?

Hi to all. Im from Argentina and im thinking about putting some skins to my skis (Rossignol S7 2013 188cm). Where i live you need to walk from 2 to 5 hours to reach the best lines. I don´t know if this is the most stupid question of the world, but, it´s possible to put some skins, with normal bindings (Rossignol FKS) and walk with that?. Carry the skis in your back for 4 hours it´s a really bad thing, and i can´t afford some new equipment, or some new bindings.

Worth it?

(Sorry for my shitty english)
